V-NEP consists of former military officers and educators who firmly believe that our greatest hopes for the future rest with an intelligent and informed citizenry, particularly as it relates to the education and preparation of our youngest citizens. Through our efforts, students are finally being taught U.S. Modern Military History: WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and now Iraq and Afghanistan.

Check out this great video of the Media Eagles Pride Parade this past Saturday. The borough of Media, PA & Town Talk of the Delco News Network coordinated this pre-Super Bowl parade Feb 3rd, which was a huge success and featured on FOX 29 and Wphl17 phila. 🦅

Free Admission for Veterans and Their Families to Panel Discussion and Museum of the American Revolution on 9/12

The Philadelphia Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund is joining the Veterans National Education Program to host with WHYY and "Radio Times'" Marty Moss-Coan, a veterans panel discussion in conjunction with the showing of Ken Burns' "The Vietnam War." The discussion will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 12, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m at The Museum of the American Revolution, 101 S. Third St. Former PA Supreme Court Chief Justice Ron Castille, one of the original founders of the Memorial, will kick off a preview of the documentary, which will premier on Sept. 17, before the discussion. The panel will examine the lingering impact of the war. Veterans and their families will also get free admission to the Museum. To register, visit whyy.org/events or follow the link.

Ron Castille to Host PBS Vietnam Film

Former PA Supreme Court Chief Justice Ronald D. Castille will kick-off a brief film highlighting the Ken Burns documentary on "The Vietnam War" Tuesday, Sept. 12, at 1:15 p.m. at the Museum of the American Revolution, Third and Chestnut Street. A panel discussion hosted by WHYY radio host Marty Moss-Coan will follow the film. The panel discussion is being sponsored by the PVVM Memorial Fund and the Veterans National Education Program, along with WHYY. The film starts at 1:30 p.m. and the panel discussion about 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Veterans and their families can register at whyy.org/events and also get free admission to the Museum. The 10-episode documentary will premier on PBS on Sept. 17. CJ Castille was one of the founders of the Memorial.
