It's been an action-packed day in the Shorewood School District!
Happening now - and open until 1:30 pm at the Shorewood Public Library: Our Lake Bluff 6th graders are exhibiting their America 250 projects and talking about what they've learned about the work of democracy through collaborations with schools across the country. Thanks to Representative Darrin Madison for his inspiring words to students before the exhibit opened, and to other community partners and WTMJ4 for helping us showcase this important project. Come on over!
The Class of 2026 checked another tradition off the list this morning with the Senior Run. After gathering in the school lobby, they took off for a run around the campus and through the halls to celebrate their upcoming graduation on June 14.
And, last but not least, our SHS State Track & Field Championship qualifiers spent a little time earlier today on customizing their spirit wear for the event. Good luck Greyhounds!
