Our Mission:
Igniting curiosity and imagination by providing hands-on STEAM experiences. Questions, Concerns and Volunteers & Donations gladly welcome.
We are a local Non Profit Science Center and park on 5 Acres located in the Airport District. We are committed to providing our Member, our visitors, school kids a hands-on experience with all things science, history and nature. Our park includes the beautiful Deutsch Cactus Garden and a tortoise compound, with lots of space for kids to run, have lunch and just be kids! Our Science Center includes an array of information and exhibits on Space, Botany, Geology, Physics and live animals.

☀️ Summer schedule update ☀️
Saturdays & Sundays 9AM - 4PM
From Monday, June 15th to Friday, August 14th, we will be open on weekends and closed during the week. We’ll be back to our regular schedule, including Music Mondays, beginning Monday, August 17th.
Our Ag Lab exhibit got a little makeover! ✨ Come check out the transformation 🥕🍅🍇 we’re open 9AM-4PM today!
A huge thank you to the students from Edison High School Key Club for spending their day volunteering at Fresno Discovery Center! They’re helping us clean out our pond and Dino Dig area so we can make these spaces even better for our visitors. 🦕🐢❤️
We’re still open to the public today from 9AM-4PM! While some areas are getting a little extra TLC, there are still plenty of exhibits to explore and enjoy. See you soon!

Come volunteer with Fresno Discovery Center! Join us for Volunteer Orientation tomorrow at our center and learn how to get involved. We’ll also be hosting Dino Dig & Grounds volunteer days on June 1st-3rd from 8:30am-1pm, with lunch provided. You can sign up online for all volunteer days at fresnodiscoverycenter.org/volunteer.
Pond updates! 🦖🐊 Chompzilla the T. rex and our alligator (should we name him Gator?) have officially moved into the pond area! We also installed a new water pump, and our koi fish and turtles are loving the fresh clean water 🐢🐟
