Mount Pleasant Fire received a call just before 5 p.m. for a townhouse fire in Park West. Crews arrived on scene to find a two-story townhome with fire showing. Command declared the fire under control at 5:32 p.m. Crews remain on scene in the 3000 block of Queensgate Way.
Crews were excited to provide the water for Holy City Christian Academy and help students kick off summer break with plenty of fun and smiles. We hope everyone has a safe and amazing summer! 🚒🌊

Mount Pleasant Fire Station 5 Shift A and Charleston County EMS was recognized today by Medical University of South Carolina and the South Carolina Burn Center for the outstanding care crews provided to a pediatric burn patient.
It is great to see their efforts recognized and continues to show that Mount Pleasant Fire has some of the best firefighters around.

Crews are currently working a garage fire in the 800 block of Ramblewood Circle.

This past weekend, three of our members attended the “Support Company Operations” class in Fairfield County. This training is designed to teach the critical skills needed to support fire attack teams at structure fires.
The class focused on forcible entry, vertical ventilation, search and rescue, and victim removal.
