Amadeo Pietro “A.P.” Giannini — founder of the Bank of Italy (now Bank of America) — was a member of our founding Board of Directors in 1916. His vision, courage, and commitment to serving everyday people helped shape not only San Francisco, but the future of banking in America.
On his birthday, we celebrate an icon of Italian American history and a legacy that continues to inspire generations.
