Join us for our rescheduled food preservation class!
In Introduction to Canning and Freezing, we will look at both water bath and pressure canning-going through the process for each method of food preservation. This will include learning all the equipment needed for both canning methods as well as safe canning practices. We will also examine freezing as a method of food preservation and the process and equipment for freezing. Tick Borne Pathogens in the Cow Herd

This program will focus on the Asian Longhorned Tick and Theileria, their threat to the cow herd, signs and side effects producers should watch for, and precautionary measures to help protect herds from the disease.

Dr. Linder will discuss mineral supplementation in the cow herd, including the importance of proper nutrition, common deficiencies, and strategies to improve herd health and performance through effective mineral programs.
