A New Chapter for Family Life Center

Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for Family Life Center.

Effective October 1, 2026, CED Fellowship House, Inc. has acquired the treatment operations and assets of Family Life Center.

After more than 33 years of serving individuals and families across North Alabama, we are grateful for every client, family, staff member, community partner, and supporter who has been part of the Family Life Center journey.

The mission continues. Treatment services continue under CED Fellowship House, with a continued commitment to the individuals and families we serve.

Our laboratory and industrial drug-testing services are also continuing. If your company sends employees to Family Life Center for drug screen collections or breath alcohol testing, those services continue as they always have, now performed by CED Fellowship House.

Thank you for being part of 33 years of Family Life Center. We look forward to this next chapter.

Today, we recognize International Recovery Day.

Recovery is possible, and every step forward matters. Today, we honor the individuals who are walking their own paths of recovery, along with the families, friends, and communities who continue to support them.

We’re grateful to be part of that journey and to witness the courage, growth, and new beginnings that recovery can bring.

September is Recovery Month. 💜

Recovery Month is a time to recognize the strength, courage, and perseverance of those working toward recovery from substance use and other challenges.

At Rapha Treatment Centers, we believe that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Every step forward matters, and support can make a difference along the way.

You are not alone. Your recovery matters.

Sometimes the hardest step is reaching out.

Whether you're starting your recovery journey, supporting a loved one, or simply looking for hope, you don't have to face life's challenges alone.

We're here to provide support, encouragement, and a path forward.

💚 Healing happens one step, one conversation, and one day at a time.

We are pleased to announce that Leslie Payne will be stepping into the role of Director of MAT Medical.

Leslie brings more than 32 years of experience in medication-assisted treatment services and has dedicated much of her career to supporting the operations and growth of opioid treatment programs.

Leslie was a founding team member of the Calhoun Treatment Center OTP program in 1994, where she helped launch and shape the program from the ground up. She went on to serve as Head Nurse there for 22 years.

For the past 10 years, Leslie has continued serving in both nursing and administrative roles, including the last five years at MAT Medical as Office Manager and Nurse. Her extensive experience, knowledge of MAT services, and familiarity with MAT Medical make her well prepared to take on this new leadership role.

Outside of work, Leslie enjoys camping with her husband and their two dogs, as well as spending time with her family.

Please join us in congratulating Leslie Payne on her new role as Director of MAT Medical. We look forward to the experience, leadership, and continued commitment she will bring to MAT Medical and the people we serve.
