Wadsworth Library was originally established April 21, 1869.

The Wadsworth Library serves residents and visitors of all ages, providing them with materials, programs, information and services to enable them to: develop a love of learning that will serve them well at all stages of their lives, keep current on popular trends, and to enjoy satisfying recreational experiences, access information needed to answer questions on a broad array of topics related to work, school, community, and personal life.

Don’t miss the Eastman Community Music School’s Adult Guitar Ensemble Showcase Concert tomorrow night, June 1st at 6:00 pm at the library. In this concert, the group will perform a mix of evocative arrangements ranging from traditional folk music to movie themes and original pieces from the 20th Century. Featured soloists will also share an informative presentation highlighting the versatility and beauty of the guitar. All are welcome!

That's a wrap! Spring storytime classes ended this week. Summer storytime classes will return on July 7 and 8 and continue through the first week of August. See you then!

Award-winning journalist Nancy E. Lynch will share authentic wartime letters written by Vietnam nurses at the library tomorrow, May 18 at 6:00 pm. Lynch highlights the nearly 10,000 military
women who served in Vietnam. While many were nurses, others worked in communications, intelligence, and administrative roles, as they were barred from combat. This program is open to adults and teens. Registration is not required. Doors will open 15 minutes prior to the start of the event.
