This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we're sharing powerful messages of hope from our Missions Inc. community. 💜

We asked or community members to represent what hope means to them on a traditional symbol of transformation—the butterfly. Look out for their messages of hope everyday this month on our stories or on our weekly posts if you missed any. 🦋

October is officially Domestic Violence Awareness and Prevention Month in Minnesota! 💜

We thank Governor Walz for this effort to raise awareness for an issue that effects thousands of Minnesotans daily. As an organization providing 24/7 support to survivors of domestic violence, we're grateful to all the community leaders who stand with us in promoting awareness and safety. Domestic violence is a community issue, and it takes a community coming together to end it.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month is a dedicated time to honor the stories of those who have experienced relationship abuse. Throughout October, we will be amplifying messages of hope shining through the darkest of times from our Missions Inc. community. 🌟💜

In celebration of hope, we asked our community members to artistically represent what it means to them on paper butterflies--a traditional symbol of hope and transformation. Look out for their messages of hope on our story everyday this month. 🦋

You can also find these art pieces displayed at Making it Possible alongside an interactive opportunity to contribute your own message of hope. We hope to see you there!
