It started with a raffle. One Chatagories giveaway, one winner, and a connection that led us straight to the Grand Opening of KGC Pilates and Wellness Club

What we walked into was more than a Grand Opening. It was a room full of builders. Vendors, creatives, and community leaders all showing up for one founder who bet on herself and won. Watching Kiersten cut the ribbon in her own studio reminded us what it looks like when vision meets ex*****on.

This is only the beginning, and we're honored to have been in the room for chapter one.

It has been an honor to serve as the AnkhLave Workshop Artists in Residence AnkhLave Arts Alliance, Inc. this past summer. Thank you so much for this opportunity.

Not only did we get to visit Governors Island Governors Island for the first time, but we also met so many beautiful people, exchanged ideas with creative artists, and built collaborations beyond the island from the connections made there. It was a life-changing experience.

A big shout-out to the AnkhLave Arts Alliance, and a huge thank you to Dario and Darlene for an opportunity that opened our eyes to so much more than we envisioned when we started.

Join us this Saturday, October 24th, from 12 to 4pm at The AnkhLave House, 408 B Colonels Row, Governors Island, for our final Chatagories card game session on the lawn. It’s a potluck, so bring a dish, snack, or drink to share.

A 97-year-old brought handmade scarves, everyone brought food, someone brought Jell-O shots, and somehow people started stealing scarves. We laughed, got deep, and watched people from different parts of one woman’s life connect over a game.
