Here is a quick look at what happened in today’s Work Session:

Invitation for Bid Opening: Enduro Course Double Vault Toilet. The County received four bids.

Utah Retirement Systems Benefit Protection Contracts Covering Tier 2 Employees:
This allows Tier 1 and Tier 2 employees to be treated the same in the advent that long-term disability is needed.

Policy Revision Discussion:
Update of policies to ensure Uintah County is in alignment with current state requirements and industry best practices.

Resolution #10-14-2026 R1 Ashley Creek Trail and 500 South Trail Active Transportation Plan:
The County applied for and received a grant that will help with the design of the trails.

Ordinance 10-21-2026-O1 Amending Title 4 Purchasing:
This update would streamline Title 4 Purchasing within the County.

Road Maintenance Agreements with Aschutz and Koda:
These contracts help ensure damage from heavy industrial traffic from energy company projects are paid for or repaired by the company.

A weather system will bring widespread rainfall to the region through Friday morning. Moderate to heavy rainfall could lead to flooding or flash flooding through Friday morning. Strong to severe storms capable of producing damaging winds, large hail, and brief tornadoes are possible in the Four Corners area during the afternoon and early evening today and tomorrow.
