Democrats in the NJ Statehouse have been in power for 25 YEARS.
And with 8+ years of Phil Murphy and now Mikie...
100% CONTROL.
What have they been doing these past 8+ years????

The Common denominator in NJ is that DEMOCRATS has had a strong majority in the NJ STATEHOUSE for over 25 years now (yes, even when Chist Christie was Gov). And look at where we are at now.
$69,000/yr (for public employee healthcare - family plan) is UNSUSTAINABLE.
--- And going UP 36% NEXT YEAR! ---
The Wanaque Borough portion of our property taxes . WOULD. HAVE. GONE. DOWN!
If we didnt have these crazy NJ STATE MANDATES, along with their 30% increases.
- and -
If we did not have to pass along these crazy - UNSUSTAINABLE - healthcare costs.

This is a FACT. And has been mentioned many times at our Wanaque Borough Hall - Mayor/Council Meetings.

NOTE:
The Wanaque Borough Council and Mayor have figured out a workaround - to limit these increases and assist our employees, at the same time, with a new, alternative, HC Plan.

And then add in the School District increases.. made things even worst.
NJEA and NJ DEMOCRATS have FAILED their members, many folks are leaving the union.

Teachers/Cops/Fieman/DPW/Clerks/etc - ALL have seen their takehome pays - GO DOWN!
And they have to also absorb these property tax increases just like everyone else.
It's horrible, but perhaps... some folks really dont care.
Because "ORANGE MAN BAD"????

Also, in the past "15-20" years - Wanaque has remained one of the safest (some years - even the #1 SAFEST TOWN) in NJ!.

- Their takehome pays are going down due to excessive/insane/unsustainable HealthCare costs.

.... there is something very very wrong in Trenton... All local governments (Democrat/Republican controlled- doesnt matter) have to deal with this.

3 Quick Observations about Democrats in NJ and perhaps in Wanaque.
1) Clearly when beating the snot out of them, on an issue.... they pull-out the "YOUR RACIST!" . For "Save Our Suburbs"??? - so... who's the racist here?
What are you insinuating? Black/White/Asian/Mixed Raced/etc - Couples/Families Dont want a nice, safe community with good schools also?
Of course they do! And Wanaque would welcome those families with open arms, they are chasing the American Dream just like we did 26 years ago (escaped Jersey City). btw.. we are one of those groups I just listed.

2) Democrats running in Wanaque - CLEARLY do not want to admit they are Democrats in all of their literature and signs!!!....WHY NOT? makes you want to go "hmmmm"...... 🤔 ... could it be that the Democrat "brand" is in real trouble? Clearly it's because of the DEMOCRATS in TRENTON, and many counties... that have run the show for over 25 years... have MADE NJ UNAFFORDABLE (high taxes/energy bills/housing/health care/etc).... highest Corporate Tax Rate in the Country... they're moving out..... and very challenging for folks to retire here to boot.

3) Exorbitant Public Employee Healthcare Costs - this year is $69,000 - and GOING UP 36% NEXT YEAR! - this drives UP property tax bills and drives DOWN public employees takehome pay.
UNSUSTAINABLE for everyone.
AND DEMOCRATS (in TRENTON) and their minions CANNOT DEFEND THIS ISSUE.
Ask yourself:
"WHAT HAVE THEY DONE???"

8 years of Phil Murphy - 25 years of Dem Control of Senate and Assembly - And now with Sherrill??? 100% Control by Democrats and they are turning their backs on public employees.
Their response is to blame Trump or Christ Christie or solar flares or aliens or something...
