Today we celebrate the birth of our nation and the promise of freedom it was founded on. While our nation remains imperfect, as Muslim public servants we remain steadfast in our commitment to ensure our country lives up to the ideals it was founded on by ensuring liberty and justice for all.

Today is a reminder that none of us are free until ALL of us are free. As public servants, may we all strive to ensure that our work in public policy reflects the values of equal access and opportunity.

As Muslims, we stand in solidarity with our African American brothers and sisters as we continue to work towards a just, equitable future for all.

Eid Al Adha and the sacrifice of Ibrahim (AS) teaches us the values of sacrifice, compassion, and solidarity. As we gather with our families and loved ones, let us
not only rejoice in our blessings but extend our thoughts and support to those who are struggling. May this Eid bring comfort to those in pain and hope for a better future.
