If the police dont act, more events like this might happen. I know of one case similar in Chicago highlighted last week on NBC-5 news has a victim who tracked their stolen motorcycle with an air tag on it. The Chicago Police will not get a search warrant for the location.

It’s Time For Mass Civil Disobedience Against Lawless Lockdown Orders For too long, mayors and governors and health officials across the country have overstepped their authority. Time to ignore them.
ReOpenAmerica is a grassroots organization founded for one purpose only: to get America back to work!
The recent shutdowns in response to the virus have been devastating to our economy, especially the small businesses and the working class. Millions of Americans are out of work, thousands of businesses are closed or closing, and many of them will not reopen. Many families, many Americans are left with no income other than promised government stimulus that at this very moment is being voted down in Congress for not having enough pork for pet special interest groups.
While Congress bickers, America needs to get back to work. ReOpenAmerica is working to gather and focus our shared voices at the people who shut us down, our local, state and national government. We are demanding an end to the shutdowns and a prevention of any further shutdowns. We are demanding a plan for getting Americans BACK TO WORK, not just bandaid bailouts. We are demanding accountability by our officials in their decisions to make these damaging and unconstitutional declarations.
We are also focused on helping save as many small businesses as possible from closure. To that mission, we are building a network of legal professionals who are willing to help small business owners manage the legal ramifications of this shutdown.
