Yesterday, I spoke at a luncheon to celebrate 35 years of Good Scout Award honorees. For over a century, scouting has built leaders and citizens of character who strengthen our communities.
Congratulations to all the past and present honorees, and thank you for your contributions to Greater Cincinnati and northern Kentucky.

This morning I visited Fairfield North Elementary for Career Day. I talked with students about my time in the military, my background in manufacturing, and what I do in Congress.
One student had a message for Washington: “stop printing money because it’s causing inflation!”
Pretty good advice.
Who else is tired of excuses from the Senate?
Americans want secure elections and overwhelmingly support the SAVE America Act. It's time for the Senate to get election integrity across the finish line, either by using the talking filibuster or by holding a recorded vote so Americans can see where their senators stand.
U.S. national debt has surpassed $39 trillion, and future generations are on the hook because of Washington's spending problem.
I founded the Sound Money Caucus to make clear that without real constraints on spending, the U.S. dollar will continue to be undermined.
We can’t afford to let Democrats set the terms on border security or they will shape the debate in ways that keep the border open and defund law enforcement.
Republicans need to set the terrain, the timing, and define the debate on our terms.

May is Military Appreciation Month. Over a decade in the U.S. Army taught me what service really means. It's long hours away from family, discipline in putting the mission first, and a commitment to defending something bigger than yourself.

This morning, I spoke with students from Community Montessori School at the Liberty Township Administrative Building. I answered questions about the legislative process and what our office is doing for OH-08.

On Monday, I met with the Council on Aging of Southwestern Ohio at an assisted living facility in Springdale. We discussed how their advocacy supports seniors and caregivers by connecting families with the resources they need.

Democrats didn't want to negotiate to fully fund DHS, so Republicans are showing them what not negotiating looks like. Reconciliation is Republicans' chance to play offense and deliver the conservative wins Americans voted for.
Every dollar lost to fraud is a dollar stolen from working Americans. Congress should follow President Trump's lead and root out the billions of dollars in waste, fraud, and abuse across the federal government.
