She grew up in Southeastern Connecticut listening to the Coast Guard Band, and even studied with her now coworker MUCS Gino Villarreal. She recently graduated from Baylor University () after studying with renowned trumpet professor Wiff Rudd.

April 19th - Regional Audition @ the Manhattan School of Music.
June 26-27 - Live audition in Washington DC at the Army Band.
The Ceremonial Band is a great job. Some of the highlights are performing with the Army Herald Trumpets, Bugling at the Tomb of the Unknowns, Arlington and performing at the White House.
