On Dec. 1,2021, 1LT Demaron Mcfarlane officially took over as the new commander of . He is a PhD student with a Masters degree in Technical Management from . Hailing from Oxon Hill, Maryland, he joined the back in 2006 as an enlisted soldier and commissioned as a Finance Officer in 2018 through the DCARNG OCS program.
