Staff Sergeant Jeffrey Hall of Huntsville always dreamed of serving in the military.

He was an accomplished jumpmaster, path finder, and sharpshooter, and had just re-signed for another four-year tour when his vehicle hit an IED in Afghanistan—the day before his second wedding anniversary with his wife, Allison.

Jeffrey’s mother, Annette, honors his sacrifice by supporting other Gold Star families across north Alabama. She is also a hero for raising her son to love this country and continuing to carry on his patriotic legacy.

Alex Klinner of Auburn was one of the six service members killed earlier this year during a refueling mission in the Middle East. He was an excellent pilot, but friends say he shone the brightest in his role as a husband and father.

We mourn the loss of a young hero gone too soon, but his legacy lives on.

It appears yet another radicalized gunman wanted to take out President Trump.

Glad him and all officers involved are safe. We must continue praying for his safety.
