"Proudly, I endorse my colleague and friend, Brooke Pinto, to represent DC as our Delegate to Congress. I appreciate her work on behalf of the city, tackling big problems during these turbulent times for our city and country. She is a proven fighter. In fact, her tenacity is one of her most outstanding qualities - something that is very important in the halls of Congress.

On the Council, Brooke's thoughtful, precise actions on measures - public safety, affordable housing, and supporting families and senior services, assures me that she's the right choice for DC voters in this competitive contest.

Vote for Brooke."

I am so proud to have Councilmember Anita Bonds’ endorsement in our race to be DC’s next Congressional Delegate.

Anita has spent decades serving our city - from her time as an ANC Commissioner, to Chair of the DC Democratic Party, to her service as an At-Large Councilmember - always showing up for our residents and delivering results. No one has done more to support our seniors or to expand affordable housing across DC.

I’m proud to be her colleague and her friend, and deeply grateful for her support.

Thank you to the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area, University of the District of Columbia, and LWV District of Columbia for hosting last night’s Candidates Forum!

Our colleges and universities are home to more than 100,000 students who come to learn and grow in DC. At a time when freedom of speech and diversity, equity, and inclusion policies are under attack, it is imperative that we stand with our higher education community to ensure our campuses remain places where students can learn safely, express themselves freely, and thrive.

"I am proud to endorse Brooke Pinto as the next Congressional Delegate to the United States House of Representatives.

I’ve had the privilege of knowing Brooke for many years; she worked on my first Senatorial campaign in 2010, she served in my office on Capitol Hill working on health and aging issues in 2015, and now, has been partnering with me and others in Congress in her mission to protect DC.

Having spent my career in public service—as a prosecutor, Connecticut Attorney General, and now in the United States Senate—I know what it takes to serve the public effectively -- experience in service, unwavering integrity, and a deep commitment to justice. Brooke Pinto brings all of those qualities to this role.

I’ve seen firsthand the challenges of serving in government and standing up to powerful interests. This position requires someone who is not only prepared to fight for what’s right, but who can also build consensus and deliver results. Brooke has demonstrated that kind of leadership—taking on tough issues, working across differences, and always putting people first.

At a time when Washington, DC needs a strong and effective voice on Capitol Hill, Brooke Pinto is ready to serve with the seriousness, skill, and values this moment demands.

I am proud to support her."

I’ve delivered results for DC, and in Congress I’ll keep fighting to make our city a place where families can thrive - safer neighborhoods, more affordable housing, strong public schools, and real support for parents, kids, and caregivers across every ward. 🌸💕

I am so proud to have the support of US Senator Angela Alsobrooks, who knows what this moment means for our city and our country:

"This role requires someone who has already proven themselves on tough issues, who can work across the aisle—even with those who don’t understand or prioritize DC—and who will remain grounded in the values and vision of the people of Washington, DC. Brooke Pinto is that leader."

Senator Alsobrooks has been a powerful voice for working families and communities across our region, and her leadership and trust mean so much as we take on the challenges ahead. I’m deeply grateful for her support and proud to stand alongside her as we fight for DC’s future.

DC is proud of our public service workforce - and the loss of 100,000 jobs due to DOGE cuts and other economic impacts is devastating for our residents and our economy.

We need a Congressional Delegate who will support our federal workforce, help impacted workers find new opportunities, and bring new industries and jobs to DC. I’m committed to delivering. Let’s do it together.

What a privilege to worship with the 19th Street Baptist Church this morning. Reverend Kevin Lamár Peterman’s sermon shook the entire congregation calling on all of us to be a part of God’s greater plan for humanity — especially in this moment when the Supreme Court has gutted the Voting Rights Act. We have planned and rebuilt before. And we will do it again. Thank you for having me.
