On National Missing Children’s Day, we highlight the work of FBI special agents and teams like the Child Abduction Rapid Deployment (CARD) team. This team supports cases like the one to locate Madison Fields, whose disappearance required a coordinated, multi-state effort to help bring her home safely. Like all CARD cases, it required strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly understand behavior and context.

The Physical Fitness Test (PFT) is an important step on the path to becoming an FBI special agent.
It includes four events — pull-ups, a sprint, push-ups, and a 1.5-mile run — each designed to measure strength, endurance, and overall fitness.
Preparing for the test means building habits that go beyond a single workout. Training outdoors, staying consistent in different conditions, and continuing to push yourself even when it’s challenging all play a role in showing up ready. Progress comes from putting in the time and continuing to improve beyond the minimum standards.
Do you know someone preparing for the PFT? Share this with them to help them stay focused and prepared. Learn more about the SASS process today.
