The Chargé d’affaires a.i. was pleased to welcome a delegation of talented young Tunisian entrepreneurs participating in the "2026 SelectUSA Investment Summit", held in Maryland on May 3-6, 2026.

On this occasion, the Embassy had fruitful exchanges with members of the delegation about their innovative technological solutions as well as their expectations from the Summit in terms of forging promising business ties with the U.S. investment ecosystem.

Together with more than 70 embassies, the Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia in Washington, D.C. welcomed visitors from across the Washington metropolitan area and beyond for the 2026 Passport DC Around the World Embassy Tour cultural event, inviting them to explore a wide range of cultures from across the globe.

At the Embassy, visitors experienced elements of Tunisia’s rich cultural heritage through live Tunisian music, a presentation of traditional handicrafts, promotional videos showcasing Tunisia’s breathtaking landscapes and a taste of Tunisian cuisine offering an authentic glimpse into the country’s cultural heritage.

تعلم سفارة الجمهورية التونسية بواشنطن كافة أفراد الجالية التونسية المقيمة بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية والمكسيك، أن وزارة الأسرة والمرأة والطفولة وكبار السن قد أعلنت عن فتح باب الترشح لنيل "جائزة أفضل بحث علمي نسائي" بعنوان سنة 2026 . فعلى الراغبات في المشاركة للحصول على هذه الجائزة، إرسال ملفاتهن الى العنوان المذكور بنص البلاغ المرفق، مع العلم وأنّ الوزارة قد حدّدت آخر أجل لقبول ملفات الترشح يوم 20 ماي 2026.

The Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia in Washington, D.C. was honored to join the 2026 Tunisian American Young Professionals (TAYP) Retreat. This occasion provided a valuable opportunity to engage with a vibrant and exceptional Tunisian diaspora representing a diverse range of professional backgrounds.

Recent visit to Washington D.C. by the Tunisia National Defense Institute delegation, as part of the 43rd “National Security Seminar” organized by the “Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies” in Fort Lesley J. McNair, under the theme « US-Tunisia Strategic Partnership, Future Defense-Security Opportunities and Public-Private Outlooks », during which the Chargé d’affaires a.i. highlighted the longstanding relations between the two countries as well as the efforts made to strengthen them across all areas of mutual interest.
