Thanks to President Trump’s leadership and the hard work of frontline DHS personnel, the number of illegals crossing into America is down 95% from the Biden Administration!

We must keep a critical eye on our nation’s intelligence-gathering services!

On May 21st, 2026, the House voted on H.R. 1329, the Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum Act. This bill authorized a location on the National Mall for the building of the American Women’s History Museum, which originated through funding by a Democrat controlled House in 2020 (although a location was never secured, keeping the building in limbo). While celebrating outstanding women who have contributed to our nation’s history is laudable, this authorizing legislation did little to stop the Museum’s already existing radical agenda, celebrating LGBT, climate, open borders, and abortion activism, as evidenced by the links below on their website. For this reason, my conscience led me to a “no” vote.

While I am glad that Rep. Mary Miller got language included in the bill to prohibit biological men from being displayed in the museum, it didn’t go far enough to stop the liberal agenda as the Smithsonian Women’s History Museum’s website is already promoting stories with activist titles such as “Learn More about LGBTQ+ Women with these Podcasts, Paintings, and Portraits,” “Exploring Border Stories with Artist Tanya Aguiñiga,” “How the Daughters of Bilitis Organized for Le***an Rights,” and “LGBTQ+ Women Who Made History.”

Without clear statutory guardrails to protect against radical left-wing ideology being injected into American/women’s history at the Smithsonian, this new museum is set to provide a permanent venue on our National Mall for pro-abortion and LGBT ideology.

The United States just celebrated the 250th anniversary of our Founders dedicating America unto God and seeking pardon for the sins of our nation. I could not support a bill that would place a Smithsonian museum on the National Mall that advocates what the Bible defines as sexual immorality, as well as the killing of the unborn. I respect, but disagree with, those who supported the measure because they believed it’s the best change we could get.
