Seabees assigned to U.S. @ Detail Diego Garcia work with civilian contractors to install metal trusses for a tension fabric structure project in support of Pacific Air Forces War Reserve Material.
NMCB-3 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.

Senior Chief Equipment Operator Matthew Kreamalmyer, U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3βs Detail Tinian assistant officer-in-charge, provides on the job training to the NMCB-3 Detail Tinian road crew on safe and proper tree topping operations. NMCB-3 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection. The battalion stands ready to complete assigned tasking, support Humanitarian Aid/Disaster Relief and Major Combat Operations throughout the area of responsibility.

Marines assigned to Bridge Company, 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, and Seabees assigned to NMCB-3 Improved Ribbon Bridge bays during a bridging exercise at Naha Military Port in Okinawa, Japan. IRBs provide a wet-gap crossing capability either as a floating bridge or as a multi-bay raft for tracked and wheeled vehicles.
