Today marks 25 years since the NESA Center’s founding; established in 2000 when the U.S. Department of Defense recognized the need for an organization dedicated to the dynamic region extending from North Africa across the Arabian Peninsula and into Central and South Asia. NESA Center Director, Ambassador John Desrocher, offers the following sentiments to mark this special occasion:
