Now that President Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry have begun serious negotiations for a nuclear deal with Iran, WE must do everything we can to make sure the deal gets done. If you have friends, family, or co-workers, who live in states, and have congressional representation, PLEASE, ask them to lobby congress to get this deal done. Democrats, especially, need to do all things necessary to help the President. Please remind Democrats we intend to monitor their support for the President in pursuit of this deal.

Soon we shall celebrate Easter, so let's reflect on our shared values and our community's support for those values. We are continuing our support for President Obama's agenda to give the middle-class, and working-class citizens more opportunity to climb the ladder of success. We know that increased educational opportunities pave the way for advancement. Let's support 2 years free community college!

It's Christmas, and we are thankful for President Obama's leadership and goodwill to all people. We are really proud of the Immigration Executive Order and the decision to engage the people of Cuba! Also, it's the ECONOMY!

Hey Ward 1 Members!
Election time is right around the corner. I know things may seem discouraging, but DC is on an up-swing under the Democratic administration. We need to remember that the positive changes in our city come from Democratic control of government. Republicans do not believe that government is a force for good. When you think of voting for a republican, you must remember that republicans tow the republican line in all things. If we get republican leadership, national republicans will call the policies for the issues we care about. All you need to do is to check out how republicans have performed around the nation. Red states have bad economies. Blue states are improving everyday. Also, education, equality, healthcare, and poverty are issues we care about in DC. DC is about to really do well economically, and in so many other areas. Let's return the government to the Democratic Party, and VOTE for Muriel Bowser. This no time to change leadership. Let's work to elect Democrats - and especially for the Office of the Mayor!

It is time to organize for the November 4 Election! Democrats must GOTV in all voting districts across the nation. Republicans do NOT represent we, the people! Republicans represent the 1%! Let's work to reclaim our nation for the people.

We need to act now to make sure everyone we know who is eligible buys insurance on the ACA marketplace by December. The republicans are planning to destroy the ACA. We need to fight against them. The ACA is great. The website will work in time. Lets write to our local newspapers to praise the ACT, and support President Obama!

Let's spread the word about the good things the Affordable Healthcare Act secures for our nation. The other side has taken over the narrative. We need to talk to everyone we know to help spread the word about the good things this act is doing.
