During Telecommunicators Week, the OUC welcomed FCC Commissioners Trusty and Gomez and Bureau Chief Nakazawa to showcase emergency call handling procedures in the nation’s capital and discuss innovative technologies in emergency communications. They toured the facility and engaged with DC 911 call takers and dispatchers to express appreciation for their commitment and service to first responders, residents, and visitors of the District.
