Today the contract was awarded for ten new 3D-printed barracks for Soldiers at Fort Bliss! The barracks will house a total of 560 Soldiers and will be ready to occupy by June because of this innovative technology. USAG Ansbach Community residents will undergo mandatory, third-party housing inspections of all Army Family Housing from Jan. 22-30, 2026, as part of a Congressional mandate to ensure safe and healthy living conditions on military installations.

The inspections are the result of the FY20 and FY21 National Defense Authorization Act and aim to bring in a third-party to offer an unbiased evaluation of the condition of military housing.
