Robert L. Burhans, former Director of Health Emergency Preparedness at the NYSDOH - New York State Health Department, and Catherine C. Slemp, MD, MPH, former State Health Officer and Emergency Preparedness Director for the West Virginia Bureau for Public Health (WV Department of Health & Human Resources) won the Wavemaker Award.
Donna A. Patterson, Ph.D, an assistant professor in Africana Studies at Wellesley College is recognized with an Honorable Mention for Excellence in Media.
