Bringing light rail to Everett Station will expand transit access for communities across Northwest Washington. Transportation means jobs and a stronger economy, and I will keep fighting for federal dollars to build the spine in upcoming transportation bills.
I visited Concrete High School this week to discuss funding I requested to update their boilers and HVAC equipment from the 1970s. I will keep working to bring federal dollars home to help local students and schools.

Congratulations to Seattle Sounders midfielder and former UW Husky Cristian Roldan for being named to the 2026 U.S. Men's National Team roster! He is the quality, scrappy, fighting kind of player that the USMNT needs in the 2026 World Cup. Looking forward to watching the team's first game on June 12 against Paraguay.
My bill will create good-paying construction jobs and upgrade local bridges, transit, ferries and highways in Northwest Washington. You can't have a big-league economy with little-league infrastructure. I am working hard to bring the BUILD America 250 Act across the finish line and invest in local infrastructure.
Today I honor those who gave their lives in service to this country.

As health care costs continue to rise, rural hospitals are struggling to maintain their current operations. I introduced a bill this week to help more rural hospitals, Island Health in Anacortes, preserve vital services and ensure quality medical care for servicemembers.
