Upcoming State Primaries in the 2026 Midterm Election Cycle ⤵️
Several states across the country will soon hold primary elections where voters will choose party nominees for federal and state offices. 🗳️

May 5:
Indiana – U.S. House seats, state legislative races and local offices
Ohio – U.S. House races and a U.S. Senate special election primary

May 12:
Nebraska – U.S. House races and state legislative offices
West Virginia – U.S. Senate race, U.S. House races and state offices

May 16:
Louisiana – Congressional seats and local/state offices

May 19:
Alabama – U.S. Senate race, U.S. House seats and statewide offices
Georgia – U.S. Senate race, U.S. House seats and state offices
Idaho – U.S. House races and state offices
Kentucky – U.S. House races and state offices
Oregon – U.S. Senate race and congressional seats
Pennsylvania – U.S. House races and statewide offices

Early June:
California, Iowa, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, South Dakota – Primaries for U.S. House seats, U.S. Senate races in some states, and statewide offices.

June 9:
Maine, Nevada, North Dakota, South Carolina – Congressional races and statewide offices.

Primary elections determine which candidates will represent their parties in the general election later in the year. 🤝

🇺🇸 Midterm Elections Are Closer Than Many Realize

As the 2026 midterm elections approach, Americans will vote for all 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 Senate seats. These elections will determine who controls Congress and who shapes the nation’s policies for the next two years.

Congress influences major decisions including:
• Federal spending
• Border and immigration policy
• National defense
• Tax policy
• Government oversight

Election Day is November 3, 2026.
An informed electorate is essential for a healthy democracy.
