Congresswoman Hillary Scholten says she received a "threatening letter" with the sender claiming to be from the Democratic Socialists of America.

Yesterday, I joined Senator Slotkin to tour the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center in Battle Creek. Senator Slotkin and I met with local Defense Logistic Agency leaders to discuss potential avenues for keeping the mission here in the Battle Creek Community. Thank you to all involved for a frank discussion on this important issue!

The sham election in Burma cannot be legitimized before the UN General Assembly. Any changes to the current UN representation for Burma do not reflect the will of the Burmese people and would pose concrete risks to American interests. I call on UN Ambassador Waltz to engage early and directly with like-minded Member States to oppose any effort to credential or seat a junta-appointed official.
