Some of our early childhood friends spent the past week celebrating through bird watching, nature walks, scavenger hunts, and hands-on exploration. Through outdoor learning and play, they continue to strengthen their sense of wonder, curiosity, and connection to the natural world.
Today, our scholars proudly showcased all they have learned during our Mathematics & ELA End-of-Year Demonstration of Learning! 📚➕✨ From problem-solving and critical thinking to reading, writing, and collaboration, our students demonstrated the growth, knowledge, and confidence they have built throughout the school year. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication! 🎉👏🏽

After touring the school and engaging with students during our school-wide Demonstration of Learning, the team surprised us with an incredible $50,000 donation presented to Mr. Gregory. It was “Wind Down Wednesday” on the SunnySide yesterday. After our monthly staff meeting, our team had the opportunity to relax, connect, and enjoy some well-deserved fun and food before heading home.

🎉 Congratulations to Ms. Alexus White, our 2025–2026 Instructional Aide of the Year! Ms. White plays an important role in supporting the young learners in Ms. Thompson’s Kindergarten class, showing compassion, patience, and dedication each and every day. She also serves as an Assistant Group Leader with the Friendship Cares Before and Aftercare Program and will be transitioning from Instructional Assistant to Para Professional for the upcoming school year.
We are so proud of all the hard work, care, and positivity she brings to our school community. Congratulations, Ms. White! We are ! 💙✨
