Throughout this week, we take time to appreciate the collective work of our educators. At OA, we believe everyone on the team is an educator—whether you teach math, support self‑regulation, or help keep our community spaces clean and welcoming. Bienvenidos a nuestra semana de agradecimiento a los educadores de Oyster‑Adams. A lo largo de la semana, tomamos tiempo para apreciar el trabajo colectivo de nuestro equipo. En OA, creemos que todos son educadores, ya sea que enseñen la autorregulación o ayuden a mantener nuestros espacios comunitarios limpios y acogedores. Si desean que sus tigres honren a sus maestr@s, aquí hay algunas ideas sencillas para la semana!

¡Es oficial! Oyster-Adams está registrado para el dia de Camina, M***a & Rueda a la escuela el 6 de mayo de 2026. Esta será una edición especial del miércoles de nuestro Bicis an Oyster-Adams.

La marcha saldrá del círculo junto al parque infantil Walter Pierce a las 8:20 am. ¡Los scooters también son bienvenidos! Si tus hijas y/o hijos aún no están listos para andar en la ciclovía en la calle, ¡puedes unirte desde la acera!

It’s official! Oyster-Adams is registered for the Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day on May 6, 2026. This will be a special Wednesday edition of our Bicis to Oyster-Adams.

Marshalled ride will be taking off from the circle by the Walter Pierce playground at 8:20 am. Scooters welcome too! If your little one is still not quite ready to ride in the bike lane in the street, you can join along from the sidewalk!!

This is a reminder to complete student registration for the 2026–2027 school year. We need your support to reach our goal of 60% enrollment by May 1st.

Registering your child is very important, as it helps us plan for staffing, resources, and a strong start to the new school year. Our goal is to reach 100% registration before the end of the current school year! || Este es un recordatorio para completar la inscripción de estudiantes para el año escolar 2026–2027. Necesitamos tu apoyo para alcanzar nuestro objetivo de 60% de inscripción para el 1 de mayo.

Registrar a tus hijas y/o hijos es muy importante, ya que nos ayuda a planificar el personal, los recursos y un buen inicio para el nuevo año escolar. Nuestro objetivo es alcanzar 100% de inscripción antes de que finalice el año escolar actual!

For 3 decades, Ms. Kleinmann has shaped reading culture at Oyster-Adams!

From founding ’ first bilingual library to helping young students learn to read in both English and Spanish, she makes sure every child has access to books that reflect who they are. Her secret sauce? Showing up every day, surrounded by books, with care and attention to each student. 📕 Vamos Tigres!

The OCC is thrilled to announce the date of FIESTA! Fiesta is an event that has brought the Oyster-Adams community together for music, fun, and celebration for over 40 years. Fiesta features games, bounce houses, food, music, and the spirit of camaraderie! This year, Fiesta will take place Saturday May 16th 11 AM - 4 PM, at the OYSTER Campus.
