Due to the lapse in Congressional Appropriations for Fiscal Year 2026, AmeriCorps, the federal agency, is closed. AmeriCorps social media will not be updated until further notice.

This exciting achievement and growing partnership between national service alumni and employers is paving the way for a more connected, impactful, and community-driven workforce. 🥳

Great news AmeriCorps alumni!

AmeriCorps has surpassed 800 Employers of National Service partnerships. That means there are now 800 employers who see the value and potential in a candidate who has served their community through organizations like AmeriCorps. In return, these employers will benefit from tapping into a highly skilled and motivated workforce.

Did you know AmeriCorps VISTA members aren't volunteers?

They're service members who often recruit and manage volunteers at nonprofits, local organizations, and tribal nations across the country. In 2024, they led this national effort with over 240,000 individuals. From ensuring families have access to food and healthcare, supporting our veterans by connecting them to resources and benefits they have earned, organizing recovery services after disasters strikes, and more – together we are making a difference, strengthening communities, and transforming lives.
