This milestone reinforces the IACP’s role as the Founding Law Enforcement Partner of the Law Enforcement Torch Run and a shared commitment to inclusion, awareness, and support for Special Olympics athletes worldwide.

Last week, Special Olympics DC hosted our Inclusive Leadership Summit, bringing together student athletes, Unified partners, and mentors from across DC for a day of growth, connection, and impact.
From leadership workshops and mock interviews to team challenges and project pitches, these students stepped up, building confidence, strengthening communication skills, and creating real solutions to make their schools more inclusive.
Through programs like Unified Champion Schools, we’re not just changing schools, we’re empowering the next generation of leaders to advocate, include, and lead beyond the classroom.
The future is inclusive!
