1 big goal: Launching a revision of the out-of-date standards with guidance from the DC State Board Of Education & the Social Studies Standards Advisory Committee
It has been an honor to Co-Chair this effort with Ward 7 Member Karen Williams & I’m excited to send these to the Office of the State Superintendent of Education to keep the work moving!

Happy First Day of School to & many public charter schools! While this is like we’ve never experienced before, I know that the teachers & administrators in all of our are thrilled to be back to daily contact with students & are working INCREDIBLY hard to help children & their families feel supported as they engage in this fall.
