The District of Columbia Public Health Association (DCPHA) is currently seeking a motivated individual with experience with the American Public Health Association and/or non-profit development to serve as incoming President of DCPHA. The President serves as the general manager and chief executive officer of this corporation and has, subject to the control of the Governing Council (GC), general supervision, direction, and control of the business, activities, and members of this corporation.

The President has the general powers and duties of management usually vested in the office of president and general manager of a corporation and such other powers and duties as may be prescribed by the GC. This is a volunteer role which requires a minimum of 60 hours per month of time spent on the duties of the role. The chosen individual will serve as president elect until January 2023 and the previous president will remain available throughout 2024 to support the new president. Apply using the link above.

Abstracts will be reviewed and accepted for three educational tracks and sessions on advocacy, health equity, and community engagement. This year's annual conference will be held virtually on Saturday, October 2nd.
