❤️ Sometimes, it’s the little signs that remind us why we serve.

At our Prince William Service Center’s monthly food distribution, volunteers and staff knew it would be a special day from the very start, when the first potato unpacked was shaped like a heart. A simple, joyful reminder of the love that fuels this work every day.

Fun fact: When disaster hits, The Salvation Army is there with meals and relief.

But long before and after the headlines fade, we’re busy showing up. From emergency financial assistance to social services, “doing the most good” is a commitment we live out every single day ❤️

21 incredible women from our Women’s Auxiliary came together to create Easter baskets for the children at our Turning Point Center for Women and Children.

We are so grateful for the auxiliary's continued support and generosity, these baskets are more than just gifts; they help create cherished memories and meaningful traditions for the families we serve. 💛🐣✨

Every Friday at 1:00 PM, the doors at our Montgomery County Corps open for a weekly Food Distribution.

Today our freezers are fully stocked and ready for this afternoon — a powerful reminder of what’s possible because of the incredible support of our community. In a couple of hours all of this will be distributed to neighbors in need.

When you support The Salvation Army you ensure that our neighbors are fed, nourished, and reminded that they are not alone. 🥫

A huge congratulations to our sponsor, Monumental Sports and Entertainment Foundation, for being honored with the 2026 Spirit of Philanthropy Award!
No one is more deserving of this honor than you are—throwback to when you gave families at our Turning Point Center a magical Christmas. 🎄
