Saddened to hear of the passing of NASCAR legend Kyle Busch. His passion for racing, competitive spirit, and impact on the sport inspired fans across North Carolina and the country.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, team, and all those mourning this loss.

As part of , I joined United for Infrastructure’s (UFI) panel to discuss how the BUILD America 250 Act would give states the resources and flexibility needed to address their unique infrastructure needs, accelerate project delivery, and improve safety across our surface transportation systems.

Happy National Police Week to the brave men and women in law enforcement. It was a privilege to welcome Sergeant Jennifer Popynick of the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office and Deputy Aaryn Carter of the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office to my office this week and thank them for their honorable service to our communities.
