Five more years of Dr. Fauci’s diary show him repeatedly disparaging the President he served, calling for his impeachment in writing, and publicly praising a 2015 Ebola vaccine trial he privately called “terribly flawed.” The entries also reveal that a ransomware attack wiped out confidential files he started keeping after the anthrax attacks, that he hosted China’s top public health officials at NIH, and that he expressed skepticism over classified warnings about Chinese efforts to steal technology, and foreign bioterror programs. Weeks before the world learned of COVID-19, the National Security Council called him into the SCIF for a meeting about Chinese genetics capabilities in Africa, and he wrote that it was because of his “knowledge and standing and because I am Tony Fauci.”
