We are pleased to share a new Peace Corps Partnership Program (PCPP) project 🇧🇿

Volunteer Jordan will work closely with the National Sports Council in the community to create a standardized tournament manual and strengthen annual training for sport coordinators.

This initiative will benefit the community by promoting stronger training practices and clear, consistent systems that help coordinators run effective tournaments and expand access to quality sports opportunities.

We’re just 1 WEEK away from welcoming our 4th cohort of Youth Empowered by Sports Volunteers! 🎉⚽🇧🇿

A key part of Pre-Service Training is language and cultural learning. Recently, our four Language & Culture Facilitators got the chance to switch roles and become students themselves. Guided by our Director of Programming & Training, Joey Manfredo who is an Returned Peace Corps Volutneer from , they stepped into a Tongan language lesson full of energy, laughter, and connection. 🌺

Learning a new language is about more than words. It’s about understanding people, culture, and community.
