The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Washington, D.C. commemorated Azerbaijan’s Independence Day and Armed Forces Day with an official reception at The Trump Kennedy Center. 🇦🇿🇺🇸

The event brought together U.S. government officials, including DAS Sonata Coulter and DAS Andrew Loomis, Brig. Gen. Colby Wyatt, diplomats, military representatives, and members of the Azerbaijani-American community.

The celebration highlighted the strength of the – strategic partnership and growing cooperation in defense, economic development, and regional security issues.

We were delighted to host students from leading universities across the studying at the Embassy of Azerbaijan.

The students engaged in a thoughtful discussion with Ambassador Khazar Ibrahim and Dr. Rashad Ibadov of ADA University, exploring ’s foreign policy, regional developments, and international partnerships.

We highly value these meaningful exchanges with the next generation of policy leaders.

The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the United States proudly participated in the event titled “Horizons of Azerbaijani Tolerance,” organized by The Cultural Center of Caucasus Jews in New York City on May 21, 2026, dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The event featured the presentation of the book “The Flourishing of Azerbaijani Jewry” and the screening of the documentary “The Paths of Our Love,” produced by Azerbaijani and Israeli filmmakers. The event also included remarks on Azerbaijan’s traditions of tolerance and multiculturalism, followed by a discussion among attendees.

Ambassador Khazar Ibrahim welcomed the ADA University School of Law delegation, led by Dean Dr. Rashad Ibadov, to the Embassy during their working visit to Washington, D.C. Discussions focused on legal education, academic exchange, and strengthening Azerbaijan–U.S. ties. 🇦🇿🇺🇸

Çıxışlarda Azərbaycan–Türkiyə qardaşlığı, Ümummilli Lider Heydər Əliyev və Mustafa Kamal Atatürkün irsi, eləcə də xalqlarımızı birləşdirən ortaq tarix, mədəni bağlar və dəyərlərin əhəmiyyəti vurğulandı.
