Our nation’s capital has a wealth of Brutalist architecture, much of it concentrated in the government center at L’Enfant Plaza, but with plenty of other fine examples of Brutalism spread throughout the District of Columbia, and beyond.

Here's a Hirshhorn-styled Bun(dt)shaft cake on a 3D printed Hirshhorn cakes stand. Big thanks to for the conceptualization and for making the model printable.

Cake is a Sesame Swenson Pink Peppercorn - basically a yellow box cake with black sesame seeds, vanilla bean, and pink peppercorn aggregate.
