🚨ACTION ALERT🚨
140 children were inside Temple Israel when an attacker tried to carry out a mass shooting.
He was stopped—because of trained security personnel on site—the kind that are funded by the Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP).
NSGP saves lives, but right now, it is underfunded and stalled in Congress.
Take action and tell your representatives to fully fund the NSGP NOW to protect our communities ➡️

We’re proud to see David Lederer, a member of our inaugural 2025 LIAT Fellowship class, standing up with courage and moral clarity against antisemitism at Columbia University.
By taking legal action alongside his brother, Jonathan, David is shedding light on the urgent need to protect Jewish students and uphold civil rights on campus.

Today, we remember the 11 Jews who were murdered as they prayed on Shabbat morning at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh—the deadliest antisemitic attack in our nation’s history.
We remember Joyce Fienberg, Richard Gottfried, Rose Mallinger, Jerry Rabinowitz, Cecil and David Rosenthal, Bernice and Sylvan Simon, Daniel Stein, Melvin Wax, and Irving Younger. May their memories be a blessing.
In their memory, we reaffirm our commitment to defeat antisemitism and protect every Jewish community.
We will be offline tomorrow for Sukkot on the two-year anniversary of Oct. 7 just like thousands of Jews were offline two years ago when news of the horrific terrorist attack broke.
There is no better way to honor the anniversary than to double down on our religious faith and traditions.
We will not let the terrorists and antisemites win.
We will not abandon our faith.
We will not hide. We will not cower in fear.
We will never forget 10/7 and the lives we lost. We will honor their memories by living proudly as Jews—and by defending the Jewish state in our ancestral homeland.

Nearly two years after Oct. 7, we enter Rosh Hashanah with heavy hearts, thinking about the hostages who are still not home. We pray for their quick return, the safety of Israel’s soldiers on the frontlines, and the security of all our Jewish brothers and sisters the world over. L’shanah tovah tikatevu.
