I'm praying for the Erie community after the devastating events on Friday night. May we hold the victims, their families, and those impacted by this tragedy in our hearts.

Two women were found dead outside the residence. Investigators later discovered additional victims inside the home, including children.

This week, I joined U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright at Cleveland-Cliffs Butler Works to highlight the $75 million federal funding at work at the facility. Butler Works is the only plant in the United States that produces grain-oriented electrical steel (GOES), a critical component for electrical distribution transformers.

This is about a strong future for America, our strong local workforce, and making a strong product that’s going to keep the power flowing.

A Butler steel mill is getting millions of dollars to expand production of a material that’s critical to the nation’s electrical grid.

This year, the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service revealed more than $3.6 billion in federal funding has been invested in our congressional district since I began serving as your voice in Congress.

This funding covers critical projects, such as road and bridge infrastructure, water and wastewater infrastructure, funding for our local volunteer fire departments, and much more.

As my team and I review project requests each year, we are always looking for those that provide the greatest return on investment for taxpayers.

I believe it’s important for everyone to remember: this isn’t Washington’s money. These are your tax dollars at work in your community.

More than 35 million seniors claimed the enhanced deduction for seniors this year thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts. The policy saved them an average of $7,500 in 2026.

Plus, 88% of seniors receiving Social Security benefits will pay no tax on their benefits under the Working Families Tax Cuts.

The Working Families Tax Cuts law is putting more money in the pockets of seniors and hardworking Pennsylvanians!

Today, we had the great honor of presenting students and staff at Moniteau High School's Special Blend Cafe with our latest Community Champion Award.

When I first met these amazing students and staff in March, I knew what they have here at Moniteau was incredibly special. This program provides real-world experience for the students, and it provides practical skills they can take into the workforce upon graduation. They are making an impact both in the school and in the community.

They are most deserving of this award!
