My office is continuing to work with Erie County grape farmers whose contracts were abruptly terminated by Refresco this spring. Farmers are the backbone of our communities, and we are exploring all options to help them.
I spoke with JET/FOX/YourErie to provide an update on where things stand.
Government officials hear back from Refresco after grape contract termination North East, Pa (WJET/WFXP)– Grape growers in the Lake Erie region had already invested in their vineyards for the 2026 season when global beverage processor, Refresco, suddenly told them in M…
Streamlining the prior authorization process is a must -- CMS Administrator Dr. Oz is spot on!
My popular bipartisan legislation, the Improving Seniors' Timely Access to Care Act, would increase transparency around Medicare Advantage prior authorization and more life-saving measures.

Chinese automotive companies have accelerated investment in North America. Their goal is not to compete in the U.S. automotive market, but instead to hollow it out and ultimately limit consumer choice to Chinese brands.
This is why I'm leading a letter with 50+ House colleagues encouraging the Trump administration to refrain from any decision that would allow Chinese automotive and battery companies access to manufacture in the United States.⬇️

As my team and I review Community Project Funding requests each year, we are always looking for those that provide the greatest return on investment for taxpayer dollars. These projects certainly do just that.
This isn't Washington's money. These are your tax dollars at work in our local communities.
I recently sat down with Erie News Now to discuss the positive impact these projects will have in Erie and Crawford counties.
Kelly pushes for federal funding to support local projects Congressman Mike Kelly, R-Pa., is urging leaders on the House Appropriations Committee to send millions of taxpayer dollars back to Pennsylvania’s 16th Congressional District.

The Committee on Ways and Means GOP recently held a roundtable with First Lady Melania Trump to discuss important foster care legislation as part of her Fostering the Future Initiative.
This week, following that roundtable with the First Lady, our Committee passed a series of bipartisan bills modernizing the John H. Chafee Foster Care Program for Successful Transition to Adulthood.
Strong families create strong communities.

On Monday, my legislation to strengthen and modernize the Internal Revenue Service’s (IRS) Whistleblower Awards Program passed the U.S. House of Representatives.

Political violence has no place in the United States of America. As I said after the assassination attempts in Butler and West Palm Beach, we must do everything we can to lower the political temperature.
I want to commend the swift response by law enforcement Saturday evening at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. It’s time for all Americans to stand together.
