Founded on November 12, 1922, by seven visionary educators at Butler University, Sigma Gamma Rho has stood as a powerful force for the empowerment of Black women and the advancement of the Black community.

We honor and applaud their unwavering commitment to service, education, and excellence, and their continued impact in communities around the world.
