| coronavirus 03/13/2020

After much consideration, we have decided to postpone the March Rooting Out Racism training.

This is a delicate time. As we contend with an ever-evolving response to COVID19, we are focused on taking care of one another and the larger community. As you may already know, this week the Mayor of the District of Columbia declared a state of emergency and a public health emergency. The DC Department of Health recommends that non-essential mass gatherings, including conferences and conventions be postponed or cancelled through March 31. MD cancelled school for the next two weeks of instruction, and DC for the remainder of the month. The epidemic has arisen and changed the way the world must operate in the coming days and weeks.

What is most critical at this time is that we all do our part to help stem the spread of COVID19.

After considering these factors, we have decided to postpone our Rooting Out Racism training in March. We have notified all registered and confirmed attendees via email. Any other inquiries should be sent to [email protected].

Additionally, we do hope to schedule a training in April, depending on how the situation evolves. We will keep you updated.

If you would like additional information on what DC government is doing, we've included a link.

We hope everyone stays healthy and safe.
