Ukrainian School in Indiana ✅
Ukrainian schools abroad play an important role in helping children stay connected to their language, culture, and heritage while building strong communities far from home. Today, more than 50 Ukrainian schools operate across the United States, educating and bringing together new generations of Ukrainian Americans.
The opening of the Anna Yaroslavna Ukrainian School of Indiana is a valuable addition to this growing network. Celebrated together with the Ukrainian Indiana’s Got Talent fundraiser, the event brought together Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine from across the state for an evening of music, dance, art, and cultural performances.
The Embassy thanks Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Indiana Svitlana Iarmolenko, the school’s leadership, the Ukrainian Society of Indiana, and all volunteers, performers, donors, and partners whose efforts helped make this achievement possible.
We wish the Anna Yaroslavna Ukrainian School of Indiana every success as it grows and inspires future generations 🇺🇦

Russia continues its massive aerial attacks against Ukraine, targeting civilians and critical infrastructure with missiles, drones, and guided aerial bombs.
Thanks to the skill of Ukraine’s defenders, more than 90% of all aerial targets were shot down or suppressed. Yet during the last week of May alone, Russian attacks killed 52 people and injured 447 others, including 5 children.
Every day, Ukrainian cities come under attack. Strengthening Ukraine’s air defense remains essential to protecting lives.

🎞️ Please join a special screening of OUR WAR on June 2 in New York, a film by Bernard-Henri Lévy directed together with Marc Roussel and produced by Emily Hamilton, followed by a Q&A with Bernard-Henri Lévy and Tablet’s Editor-at-Large Liel Leibovitz.
Between February and April 2025, Bernard-Henri Lévy and Marc Roussel traveled across the frontlines of Pokrovsk and Sumy in eastern Ukraine. They documented the daily lives of civilians under bombardment on the eve of potential negotiations, as well as Ukrainian soldiers resisting Russian aggression.
Structured as a filmmaker’s logbook, Our War draws on footage captured since spring 2022, and earlier still, as the war began with the invasion of Crimea in 2014. Combining personal archives with unprecedented access to the front, the film retraces the major milestones of the largest war on European soil since 1945.
