76 Words - Strategy, Television, Online There are 76 words in a 30 second TV ad. What do you want your audience to do?
2.) Gov.

We go about finding those words and the pictures that go with them a little differently than most. For us, each communication – TV, radio, online, anywhere - starts with two questions:

1.) And what feeling do you need to create to get them to do it? We would all like to believe that voters are all rational decision-makers searching for the best candidate with the best policy ideas. In reality, mo

Ted Turner revolutionized philanthropy by giving a literal billion dollars to United Nations development projects, saving countless lives around the world.

We were lucky to be part of telling some of those stories, from Girl Up, to build stronger societies by empowering girls; to Nothing But Nets, to take on the killer that is malaria.

He leaves a widely varied legacy on a lot of issues, but he sure improved a lot of lives. RIP to a real one.

Parents, like Mike S., warn that 109 would put all of our kids at risk by subjecting young girls to forced inspections just to play sports. That’s not right. Forced gender inspections put kids at risk and violate their privacy. Parents, families, coaches and people who are actually raising kids should have the freedom to decide what’s best for their child. Keep politicians out of private family decisions.

The company claw machine just welcomed another trophy.

It’s made us think about how lucky we are. We work with some amazing clients and colleagues.

We’re giving some extra (financial) love to the ones listed after the mandatory celebrating. If you can too, they’re great causes making a real impact in people’s lives.

Now for the win: our work for Reproductive Freedom for All, Who New Jersey Trusts, continues its awards run, winning the gold Pollie award for Best Independent Expenditure Campaign - for Governor of 2025.

It matches the Reed Award the ad recently won in a similar category.

And for the folks doing the work:

Reproductive Freedom for All, the ad’s sponsor.

Winning Jobs Narrative Action, whose narrative research contributed to the work.

And Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California, Paid Leave for All, and MomsRising, just for being great in general.

Here’s to more wins. And more impact.

For the third time in the past four years, 76 Words is the winner of a Reed Award for Best Independent Expenditure.

This time, it’s for “Best Statewide Television Independent Expenditure” for Who New Jersey Trusts, made for Reproductive Freedom for All on behalf of Mikie Sherrill in the New Jersey Governor’s race.

The ad combines abortion and economic messaging, showing that voters want leaders who will protect their ability to build the lives they want.

This bling will go on our shelf in a trio next to similar Reed awards for our IE work in 2022 and 2024, and dozens and dozens of awards for campaign-winning ads.

Though we maybe also want to get a claw machine for them, so visitors can play to take home a prize. Should we? Let us know!

President-in-fact Stephen Miller had a notion: unite Americans against a common enemy.

Welp, it worked. Just not the way he planned.

Yet again, Minnesota is serving as a North Star for how we stand in solidarity with one another.

With that in mind, 76 Words is proud to partner with artist of WideAwakes.army on an ad in today’s Minnesota Star Tribune.

The fight isn’t over. ICE and CBP haven’t ended their occupation. And Minnesota still needs our help.

But they don’t get to win. We do. And we fight until then.
